How to move beyond “engagement as an activity” to create deep, meaningful, lasting human connections with employees and customers alike
Tues 18th January 2022 5pm to 6pm UK time (no fee)
Every year, organisations around the world spend billions on activities and campaigns designed to improve their customer and staff engagement scores.
But look beyond this, and you will also see some brands, some businesses, some people, who manage to create a level of personal connection with their customers, fans and followers, that goes far, far beyond mere “engagement”.
These folks don’t follow the normal rules of engagement – the loyalty they create runs far deeper. Nor do they see that loyalty fall away when they screw up; more often their scores actually go up as fans leap to their defence.
It’s tempting to look at these phenomena as something alien, unreachable, irrelevant to our own situations, but that level of connection and loyalty is available and accessible to any organisation. The evidence is hidden in plain sight, in thousands of small, individual examples over the last two years. And the clues to how we can achieve it are there as well.
Join me and my guest, Andy Goram, former Chief Brand Experience Officer for Gala Coral, and host of the rather wonderful “Sticky from the Inside” podcast, as we draw insights out of the evidence and bring together the different models and interpretations we’ve seen and used, to help understand how any organisation might make the leap to Engagement 2.0
These seminars represent a rare opportunity for leaders from disparate organisations, to step away from the day-to-day, to think more strategically about the opportunities in front of them, and to learn new and better ways to drive their success.
