An intensive development programme specifically designed for non-profits that need to rapidly improve their commercial acumen and skills. Ideal for those who are looking to increase earned income, and for those already engaged in providing products or services to third sector, private sector and public sector organisations.

The programme is based around four intensive workshops, spread over 12 weeks, with 1:1 and group coaching in between and for a further month after the final session. This ensures the team are fully supported as they try out what they’ve learned, and that the new skills and behaviours are successfully translated into the real life environment, and reinforced and embedded through hands-on learning and mentored practice.

The full programme runs for four months, and includes:

  • Preparatory reading and exercises
  • Two full-day and two half-day group workshops covering:
    • Business development strategy
    • Value proposition development
    • Buyer identification and acquisition
    • Marketing strategies
    • High value ethical selling
    • Pricing and negotiation
    • Homework and exercises between sessions
    • Continuous learning techniques
  • Four months of unlimited coaching access for each participant
  • Ongoing assessment and feedback throughout the programme

Teams should be a minimum size of six people and a maximum of sixteen. Those who are actively involved in business development or customer / client-facing roles will gain most from the programme, as they will be able to directly implement what they learn during the coaching period. Fee: £17,500 per team
