The business concepts transforming charity
Charity CEO breakfast seminar 11th June 2019, St Pancras, London.
Business concepts and techniques are becoming increasingly relevant for charities. They can help to unlock a range of opportunities to increase impact and income, from trading and social finance, to commercial partnerships and market-shaping for social good, as many charities are already beginning to demonstrate.
To share successes and unpick the inevitable challenges of translating leading-edge commercial thinking into the unique context and culture of a charitable organisation, I am hosting a complimentary breakfast seminar, exclusively for CEOs of major charities, on Tuesday the 11th June 2019. This session will provide a unique opportunity for facilitated, in-depth, open and honest discussion with a high-level group of peers, supported with straight-forward frameworks and successful examples.
The focus of the seminar will be Strategic Innovation: for impact, income and social change. My guest speaker will be Richard Hawkes, CEO of the British Asian Trust and former CEO of Scope. The seminar will begin at 8:30am in the St Pancras area of London and will finish at 10:30am. Breakfast will be available in the room from 8am to give time to meet and network with your peers.
Together we will explore:
- Modern commercial innovation techniques, and how they can be successfully applied within charities
- Harnessing commercial market forces to dramatically increase reach and social impact
- Adapting modern sales and marketing techniques to test and launch innovations and ideas
- The barriers within charities to each of the above, and the solutions for overcoming them
This seminar is for CEOs of large and major registered charities and is free to attend. Numbers are strictly limited and seats will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to reserve a place, please email me as soon as possible.
